Director of Golf Operations

Austin Stewart is the Director of Golf Operations at the National Golf Club of Louisiana. He is 23 years old.

Austin was born in the city of Lake Charles and started playing golf at the age of twelve. He is currently on the path to getting his PGA of America Membership. After turning sixteen, he worked his way up the ladder in the golf industry, starting as a cart attendant, then pro shop clerk, and then assistant golf professional. Now he is the Director of Golf Operations.

Austin has 5 years’ experience as a golf professional. He has been involved in all aspects of managing a golf course, from setting up tournaments to teaching players. He is well-versed in the business and finance of golf, and he provides an enjoyable and safe experience for all golfers.

Austin is passionate about bringing a positive and professional atmosphere to the National Golf Club of Louisiana. He plans to focus on improving the club’s overall experience for all players, through better customer service, an enhanced golf course design, and more competitive golf tournaments.
